Maureen Prosser is a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and Ayurvedic Practitioner with a background in psychology, nutrition, behavior change, and whole-person wellness. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from North Carolina State University, completed her health coaching education through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and trained in Ayurveda at The Ayurvedic Institute.
At Carolina Total Wellness, Maureen works with patients to help bridge the gap between clinical recommendations and everyday life. Her areas of interest include nutrition, chronic stress, gut health, and the ways these factors can influence overall well-being.
As a health coach, Maureen helps patients better understand the health information and clinical findings they receive from their care team and translate that information into realistic, sustainable changes. Her approach is highly individualized and focused on practical behavior change rather than one-size-fits-all solutions.
Maureen’s goal is to help patients feel more confident applying what they learn about their health, building habits that are manageable, meaningful, and supportive of long-term well-being.
